NEET 2017 exam has been caught up with lot of controversies. Due to controversies this year the answer keys and OMR sheets have not been released yet and there is no official notification on the official website. As per the tentative schedule issued by CBSE for NEET 2017 exam, the answer keys were expected to be out before May 30 . It is advised that the students keep an eye on the official website in case the answer key notification of NEET UG 2017 exam is released. Madurai bench of Madras High Court recently granted an interim stay on the release of NEET 2017 Results which has further caused confusion with regards to the delay in the release of NEET Answer Keys and uncertainty over NEET exam. The Gujarat High Court has also issued the notice to CBSE, MCI over discrepancy in regional papers. With the regards to the cancellation of NEET exam 2017 there are some section of students and parents who believe that there should be re-test as they want all the students to get equal chance whereas some are of the opinion that re conducting a re-exam for a nation level entrance exam like National Eligibility Cum Entrance Exam (NEET).

There were also reports that the paper of CBSE NEET 2017 paper was leaked in Bihar. The Bihar police have arrested the owner of a coaching centre who is believed to be the leader of a gang that tried to leak question papers of the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET). The paper leak has also concerned the parents and students that undeserving candidates will get admission to medical colleges on the basis of their ranks. It is yet to be seen what stand does CBSE takes in regard to re conducting the NEET exam and the release of answer keys as CBSE cannot declare the results of NEET exam on the scheduled date ie June 7.
